This isn't the full version of the first part of 1.8, the official release still stands to be released on the 12th September. Use this pre-release with caution, as it hasn't been fully tested therefore could be really buggy, after doing a quick test of my own I noticed the framerate had dropped a little and the lag spikes were slightly more common due to the large update. The reason I did not do this video with commentary was that at the time I found out about this pre-release, my family had gone to bed and I didn't want to disturb them by doing commentary.
